Barcelona is very big and it is really difficult to visit all the places walking. So you can use our public transport: a great underground and a fantastic bus service.

If you want to go somewhere you can take the underground or the bus. We have lots of underground's lines (Line 1, Line 2, Line 3, Line 4, Line 5, Line 9, Line 10 and Line 11). You can go wherever you want. We recommend you to take the public transport because you will avoid the Barcelona's traffic and it is cheaper than other transport, like taxi or a rent car.

The bus is another option. It is cheap, too, but you can't avoid the traffic. The advantage is that you can see the city.

The underground timetable is:

WORKING DAYS (Monday-Thursday): 5.00 a.m - 12.00 p.m
FRIDAYS AND BANK HOLIDAYS' EVES: 5.00 a.m - 2.00 a.m
SUNDAYS: continuous service until midnight.

Underground and bus tickets: There are lots of different tickets and princes for travel by underground.

MULTI-DAY TRAVEL CARDS: You can take the service "Hola BCN". Is a new form, especial for turists, to enjoy Barcelona during 2, 3, 4 or 5 days. If you want to buy things yo can take Barcelona Card, it combines travel on public transport and attractive discounts.

1)BUS TURISTIC: TMB,a public transpot enterprise, offers a service very amazing, called Bus Turistic. It is a good way to enjoy Barcelona during the day because you go by bus seeing all Barcelona's monuments and at the same time you are listening what you need to know about what you are seeing.



2)NIGHT BUS: It's like the Bus Turistic but this service is only available at night during the summer. If you want to enjoy a really fantastic Barcelona night's sight, this is your oportunity. You will see an iluminated Barcelona. It's a good idea to spend your time if you are visiting or you are going to visit Barcelona with your partner. From 31st of may to 15th of september, all fridays, saturdays and sundays.



3) SEGWAY: It's an inteligent and funny transport. It's a good way to visit Barcelona with your friends or with your partner. We recommend you this option because we think that it's a very special form to know Barcelona. 4) MONJUÏC'S CABLE CAR: It's a fantastic transport to see all Barcelona from the top. It's very cheap and it's an activity that we recommend you. The ticket prices are from five to ten euros. This cable car joins Barcelona with Montjuïc's mountain.
